Why I Can’t Recommend It

We recently went to Arizona and we tried all the Angelope Canyon tours, including Upper Canyon, the most famous section.

If you have not heard about Antelope Canyon, it is a narrow corridor in the desert with soft walls and curved of orange and purple sandstone. This room was carved with wind and water for many years, leaving the beautiful valley that you can see today.

Despite the noise and popularity around the Alawite Valley, which is famous for its light firmness, I must say that I have been disappointed. Don’t make me mistake – the valley itself was amazing, but the tour was very hasty and expensive.

In this guide, I will share my experience from the tour, and after that I will recommend some alternative sections from Antelope Canyon that it is best to visit in my opinion!

Why can I not recommend the top Antioppie Canyon

1. It is difficult to get a spot

First of all, it is extremely difficult to get a tour of Upper Canyon from other sections of antelope. It is generally sold quickly, so you may have to reserve months ago to get the date and time you want.

There are some reasons for this. Since the upper valley is smaller than the lower valley or Antelope X, it fills the easiest and cannot run many rounds per day.

It also made light symptoms in Upper Canyon common to photographers. This is definitely nice, but it is a little exaggerated in my opinion, and they are not always visible anyway.

2. It is very expensive

The Olaya Valley is the most expensive part of Antelope Canyon.

Again, this is because of its popularity and the small size of the valley. I offer and demand.

In contrast to the ANTELOPE Canyon X tour, which can reach $ 60, the top valley prices can reach $ 150 per person during the summer season. It is exaggerated.

3. I rushed very much

My main pain with the Alawite Valley is the extent of the round.

I went with a company called “Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours”, and I cannot recommend it, but I am not sure that it was different with another company.

From the beginning, it seemed to be a race to get to the hole as soon as possible until the next group comes. A guide from another group behind us was screaming on us like livestock and pressing our group to go faster.

Although it is usually announced as a 1.5 -hour round, most of the time is to cross to and from the Valley of the hole.

Only 30 minutes have been spent inside the opening, and I felt shorter than that because you can never stop or stand for more than a few seconds.

When we entered the main room, take our guide to allow each of us to take pictures with a light beam. My role came, and I said to the evidence that I do not need a picture of myself, but I asked whether I could take a picture of the light package instead.

The evidence did not hear me either, or she did not want to wait, because she started rushing to the next room without even allowing me to take any picture! I missed the best opportunity for pictures.

It was really frustrated, especially since I was the only person in the group with an actual camera; Everyone used their phones. There is no mistake in that, but at least let me take a picture of the best room!

I had a completely different experience in the lower antelope and the Canyon X. It was much better. Everyone in our group had time to take hundreds of pictures!

You still cannot be able to Dawdle, and certainly will not be the only person in the opening, but the evidence will give you at least time to stop and take a lot of pictures.

The scene in these valleys is at least good as the Alawi Valley in my opinion. The only lost thing is the symptoms of light. Once again, these tours are slightly cheaper than the Alawite Valley.

  It is not a difficult tour, and almost anyone can do this. The total walking distance is about one mile (1.6 km), most of which are flat and oppressed. After walking through the opening and exiting the other side, you can return to the parking lot by walking on a short slope. This is the slightly difficult part of the tour, but it is not really difficult.

• Is the tour okay for children?
  Yes, the tour is friendly for children and many children do it every day. Even children are welcome. Of course, you will want to check this with your company after reservation.

• Is the tour safe for pregnant women?
  Tourism companies discourage pregnant women from going to any of the antelopes, perhaps for responsibility, but it is still permitted and many people did so.

  I am not a doctor, but I think the biggest concerns of pregnant women here will be heat and rugged ways. There are no stairs or stairs inside the upper valley. It takes about 15 minutes on the sand on the sand, and if you tell them you are pregnant, they will allow you to sit in the taxi from the truck with the driver.

  Walking in the sun and heat is very short. You are in the cold opening most of the time, and after leaving the hole, walk on a short slope to return to the car park.
